Mods and such.

Okay. I have a load of questions that I have been dying to ask someone with knowledge of these cars. All of these are pretty much pricing questions (all pertain to the 370z).

1. How much would it cost to get a magnetic black paint job?
2. How much would black rims lipped with red cost, and does the color of which the rims are lipped affect pricing?
3. Is it legal to have colored light emit from your headlights, brake lights, etc.
4. How much would it cost to have your lights emit a different color?
5. Can you have more than six characters on your license plate if you pay extra for it to be customized?

I live in Florida by the way, so I'm not sure if my sate laws differ from yours.I'm sorry if these questions seem obvious, but I'm afraid that they're too specific for Google to return an accurate result. Thank you in advance! :hello:

Lets go through your list

1. How much would it cost to get a magnetic black paint job?

So much you should sell your car and buy a MBlack...
Realistically THE SHÍTTIEST of paint jobs would cost you 3-5k, and you'll devalue your car about 5k...
And if you want your car painted properly (all the door jambs, under the hood) you're looking at 10k, and still a 5k loss of value

2. How much would black rims lipped with red cost, and does the color of which the rims are lipped affect pricing?

Um... I'm not sure if you're asking if you're buying new ones or to paint/powdercoat yours...
Wheels can go from $800-4000 for a set, and you can get your, or any wheels powdercoated for sub $600

3. Is it legal to have colored light emit from your headlights, brake lights, etc.

Ask a cop. In CA, your car cannot emit light any color other than white, amber and red. And I'm pretty sure also every state is the same. (Small variances in laws, like in CA you cannot have red in the front of the car)

4. How much would it cost to have your lights emit a different color?

"EMIT" is vague, but lets assume you mean some sort of accent (Iron Man lights or halos)
And assuming you're doing it yourself... $50? (We have 50 threads on lights, look up "Dallaz"'s thread and/or "Nut_n_Much"'s thread on headlights
Message or look up 180Customs, they are a sponsor (you can find them on the front page) they have a pricing list

5. Can you have more than six characters on your license plate if you pay extra for it to be customized?

Yeah, 100% a state issue, TX was 5-6 depending on plate, CA is 7

Floridian here...max is 7 characters including spaces. $90 annually for specialized plate. And in case you were considering a vanity plate TIFFS Z, it is taken by yours truly.

And go buy the car already!

It says "Drives: Santa's Sleigh". So he is modding a Santa's sleigh. In this case, have colored light emit from the headlight and taillight would be totally legal in all states. In fact it is necessary - the more color the merrier. And I agree, a set of black wheels with red lips would be fashionable although traditionally wheels are not necessary on a Santa's sleigh. But why would you paint it to magnetic black??? It should always be solid red! Red for Xmas and black for funeral... The last but not the least, yes you can have any number of charactors on your plate as long as you deliver the gifts on time. Happy modding!

PS: Oh almost forget... Don't worry about the price. It would be from our tax.:santasleigh2:
