I was waiting for the VW Scriocco to arrive on the US shores, but got tired of the wait. Fantastic car.

I was patiently waiting for VWAG to announce that the new Scirocco was coming to the US to replace my 9 year old convertible TT (and supplement my 87 16v Scirocco). I was also looking at a used Cayman S but it was too expensive and not as interesting as the Z. The practical side of me wanted an A3 or S4 but I wasnt' ready to give up sports cars. -daniel |

I haven't bought yet, but my 3 that I'm considering in order are:
1. 370Z 2. Corvette C6 3. Audi TTS 4. Another 335i Really leaning toward the Z right now. |

I was actually considering a used porsche 911, or a nissan versa (dont laugh).
Then someone either on here or another forum was talking about how he got a Versa for the wife (which was my plan), and he hated driving it with a passion because it was so boring and powerless. Then I though, I'll be that guy in 1 year if I buy a Versa. So I decided to sell my wifes car and buy a 370Z, and I'll give my wife my 08 Tacoma quad cab. that way we are both happy, she has her 4 doors, I have my truck, and I have my Z! |

09 WRX because it was cheaper and yet still fast and fun. The Z won me over simply for all the reasons that make a Z the car it is; that and the fact that I could get a yellow one to match my yellow 77 280z.

G37 coupe Genesis coupe 3.8 track And a vague look toward a 135I I only considered those because I needed a lil storage area for sure. When I saw the new 370 trunk it had just enough storage (6.9 cu. Ft) just barely big enough for my wife n wheelchair... lol Can't wait to pick mine up when the 2010 coupes drop. |

Since late February i thought and thought and thought about a Lotus Elise. but in the end, i decided against the Lotus and went went the 370Z for the following reasons:
1) Alot less $$$ 2) Closest Lotus dealership 5-6 hours away 3) Any car problems and its a major hassle to get to Chicago. time off work, $$$ for gas and hotel and food, possible towing bill 4) Difficulty of getting in and out. Who knows, perhaps one day i will own a Lotus Elise. but for now, all things considered, the 370Z was the better choice. Mike |
