I wanted a Cayman in the worst way. I loved the ones I drove and up until I drove the Z, I was saving my pennies to buy one in a couple of years. But I found the Z so visceral and immediate and fun :excited: that I just couldn't resist. Sure the Porsche was a lot more refined, and probably holds its value better yada yada yada.

But I found the Z just plain more fun.

What about you?
Me:

Z (keep truck)
Mustang GT Premium (keep truck)
Toyota Tacoma to replace my truck
Jeep Wrangler, also to replace my truck

I briefly considered the Chevy Cobalt SS. 260HP turbo, good power/weight, and cheap (roughly half the Z...) - also better mileage...and would make a sporty commuter...but Chevy...yeah...

Before I bought this I was thinking G37 or E46M3. The thought of S2K, Viper, Camaro SS, 135, and 335 came accross my mind, but I never really wanted them over the G or M3

M3, S5 - I just loved the Z, and figured I could put the extra 15-20k into it, and have an amazing machine.

I haven't bought yet, but my 3 that I'm considering in order are:
1. 370Z
2. Corvette C6
3. Audi TTS
4. Another 335i

Really leaning toward the Z right now.

I was actually considering a used porsche 911, or a nissan versa (dont laugh).

Then someone either on here or another forum was talking about how he got a Versa for the wife (which was my plan), and he hated driving it with a passion because it was so boring and powerless.

Then I though, I'll be that guy in 1 year if I buy a Versa. So I decided to sell my wifes car and buy a 370Z, and I'll give my wife my 08 Tacoma quad cab.

that way we are both happy, she has her 4 doors, I have my truck, and I have my Z!

09 WRX because it was cheaper and yet still fast and fun. The Z won me over simply for all the reasons that make a Z the car it is; that and the fact that I could get a yellow one to match my yellow 77 280z.

I test drove a Mustang, Genesis Coupe, and something else I forget currently, but the Z just had the looks and style I wanted.

I too like Fly Yellow was looking at a G37 but decided to go with the 370Z because I thought it looked better and was sportier.
