You know what's a trip...
There are still parts of my story missing... Before the Maxima got totaled, the Houston dealership would fill my car FOR FREE every time I came in. AND in 11.5 months of owning it (3 of those months being back home in LA) the car went through $14,000 of repairs, yes, you read that correctly And about a week or two before taking the 370Z in for the laundry list of problems, we bought a $34,000 Maxima... And after I got the call from prick Mike about the dent, I called the guy we bought our Maxima from and told him what happened (even though I told him I knew it wasn't his area) but he is the second highest buy in the dealership... I did tell him that I will never step foot on that dealership every again, and if the service manager wanted to speak to me, or if he wanted me to bring my car in, that I would gladly meet him at Costco... He also said that the service manager would call me the next day... Which he didn't...

ANNNNNDDDD... On a side, side note, the guy I talked to at corporate today said, hey I don't know if you have been informed yet. But there is a recall for the steering wheel lock assembly,
I told him that I am a part of the forum, and almost nothing passes through my fingers.

The Japanese REALLY take pride in something that is a symbol for their own country, while I assume that people that work for any Japanese company outside Japan consider there job as merely a job... That and the fact my Maxima was a rental is why I let the problems slide... Thing is... The new Maxima had a door rattle on day one, very slight, but it's still there...

*Shítty cars. I actually wanted to change my signature (and I will soon) to: "I'm a prick, trust me. But if you can trust me with that, trust that if you get to know me that I'm not actually a prick" I'm have a shell of prick, but nice once you break the nutcracker out, lol

Never had any problems with Toyota whatsoever no matter how hard you drive em... I bought my 370Z used at a Toyota dealership and haven't had any problems with it, maybe they injected it with Toyota reliability? I like Nissan now though since I haven't had any problems with my Z A lot of dealerships suck in general because they overcharge you up the wazoo for parts and labor and can easily mask their scamming and shadiness because they're supposed to look official/legit What you should do is take your car to a dealership for regular maintainence like oil change etc. then if/when they come back and tell you there's something wrong you write all that down and take it somewhere else that's trusty to have a second look and fixed properly and cheaper |

The Japanese word Nissan(日産) means "Made in Japan" if translate into English. It would be ironic if they are actually NOT made in Japan! LOL. One of my Japanese friend visited me this summer and he said he hates Nissan because it's more like a French owned company now. He denied to admit Nissan is a Japanese product.
