Something you're not telling us, Heather? Definitely take it back to the dealer since it has only been a few weeks. There's a chance the rubber grommet in the firewall

 Definitely take it back to the dealer since it has only been a few weeks. There's a chance the rubber grommet in the firewall is leaking. When people install audio system, they can remove the grommet to pass wires through the firewall. You need to trace the power wires to see where it goes, which requires looking underneath the dash on the passenger or driver side. If not sealed properly, water will flow through the firewall hole and soak the carpet.
