mods for 370Z
 

Hi,
I was going to put a nismo intake and a high flow cat on my car. i have a Greddy exhaust already.
My question is, is this worth the money for more whp? You can email me at celticfiredrake@yahoo.com and let me know.
I have herd a lot of good things about the whp and as well, a lot of bad, like don't waste your money. I need help please !!!!

I think he is probably commenting on his thoughts regarding your specific level of intelligence in regards to modifying a particularly beautiful machine... or perhaps just your intelligence in general.

Mod your car the way you want. If you're looking for ideas, go to the Member's 370Z Gallery in this forum for great ideas. Good luck man. For a 13, you may want to stiffen up you Z in addition to whp mods. Unless you have the funds now, you can also save until you have enough for a TT or SC.

I am able to afford it cause I work. Simple enough :)
And my intelligence in general, I wouldn't ask the question if I didn't know the answer and was looking for help. Besides, ain't that what we are here for?

She is very beautiful for sure ! I was just wanting to give her more hp and not sure on the way to go :(

High flows cats are definitely worth it.

As for intakes? CAI is the only way to go.

Search thru the different sections of the forum and you can post your questions in there, And get help.

"worth it" is all relative for power. The most "worth it" modification in terms of power per dollar is probably forced induction.

I did and some said that it wasn't worth it, that you may get 11-19 at the wheel and some say 20-30 at the wheel.
This is why I posted here :(
Sorry for all the bad that has been written, I was just hoping for a more definite answer.

Geesh - I'm glad you're not a burden to society and have a job. I did not say or imply you could not afford it. What I said is if you have the funds go get TT or SC if not save up for it rather than spend money on 11 to 30 whp and later on go to FI like some of the guys did.

You're looking for a definite answer, you won't get it, you'll get a range depending on the mods. As I learned by reading posts and searching around like a lot of members already suggested, mods do not add up incrementally. Good luck with you.

Z1 has a Stillen Gen Intake that they said was Dyno proven on 370Z to give 17.5 increase at the wheel ! LOL, see I did do a search :)

This isn't a video game. Gains are not going to be the same across all cars. Gains, even with the same mod, vary based on manufacturing tolerances.

By the way, something about the way you type makes you seem like a very small child. Can't tell if it's because of the questions your asking or the way you're asking them but I think it rubs people the wrong way. All of the questions have been answered before. If you didn't get your answer the first time then please RE-READ because the answers regarding intakes, exaust, hfcs, etc. have been discussed adnaseum.

More horsepower comes from pixie dust sprinkled on your engine by a GOOD fairy.
