When others have to drive my car. Such as yesterday when I took my car for an emmissions test here in Ohio. Great place, top techs but still a smudge inside and some surface scratches at the rear hatch area. Obvious someone leaned on it or had to rub on it. I of course washed it ,removed the scrathes, polished and waxed the area of concern. Just more work. I did let my lifetime buddy drive it when I moved last fall. Hes a original Datsun guy from long ago. I trust him along with my buddy who has a 2001 Corvette with 8k miles. Anyone who has a good car i feel no problem with. It just the strangers.

They don't need to be on your insurance policy (unless you have crappy policy maybe?). If I let someone drive my car and they wreck it, my insurance goes after their insurance. They pay the deductible, and the claim goes on their insurance. Unfortunately, it's happened to me before. Nationwide (my insurance) took care of everything and gave me zero hassles.
