There are only a few people I really trust to drive my car (a few family members and a friend) other than that I try to avoid anyone driving my car when possible. If I have to have a tech drive it at the dealership or another shop I always try to watch them and I also remind them how to put it into reverse because I have seen someone put it in 6th instead of reverse before . I almost had a heart attack, but he caught himself.

Never! people don't care about your stuff and worst of all, they don't understand the concept of having nice, clean, well taken care of, things ... not to mention they get annoyed when you tell them to be careful, how to park, and not to get close to the curbs, etc, etc, so why even go through that

yeah, even if you are just giving people a ride is sometimes challenging, my now exgirlfriend wanted a ride to walmart and got all mad at me because i made her walk by parking all the way back in the parking lot and it was raining. I'm not parking my car anywhere near the front of walmart rain or no rain!

I don't have a problem with someone driving my Z at all. It's just a car!

I taught my 13 year old daughter how to drive a stick in this car (she was a quick learner) and no damage done. I'll save the donuts and burnouts for later:-)

Guess you don't give a $hit about your Z's resale value either.

resale? whats that. i will end up destroying this car, and having a great time doing it. im not one to put a piece of plastic and metal on a pedestal. i work hard, i earn my money, and i intend to spend it the way i want. and what i want to do is buy a fun car, and drive it like its meant to be driven, with zero regrets. plain and simple.

This sounds like some people I know that don't have two cents to show for themselves when they get to my age (63) after a life of not caring about anything then *itch and moan about it constantly.

I can agree with working hard and enjoying what u buy with it. But i can't understand your attitude for not caring about what u bought...... Don't u want it to at least last long enough for your hard earned money to appreciate it

i do care, but to me this is just a toy, its no where near the performance of my other toy, so im not worried. im very "spirited" with my vehicles as ive seen you guys describe it, but i also maintain them accordingly.

everybody has their vices. i dont drink, dont smoke, no kids, almost everything i own is paid off, so why not live a little.

ill settle down when i start getting old, luckly 40 is still a long way off. so i have some time. lol
