which one is best aftermarket exhaust?
1. Nismo
2. Stillen 3. 5ZIGEN 4. HKS 5. Borla 6. Berk tech OR 7. NO exhaust OR 8. Standard exhaust without resonator which one sounds the best and offer the most WHP? |
Borla I loved mine I had on my 06 350Z it sounded great with my APS Test Pipes and Megan Headers
I plan on getting the Borla TD and Test Pipes and hoping for a similar/better result DAN |
How about other exhausts like Fast Intentions, ZELE, GTM Exhaust, Fujisubo, Amuse, Greddy Tic, Saclam, MCR Titnium , Surugaspeed, Invidia, Boombop, MXP etc? You need to put all those there to get a fair response.
There are two different kind of Nismo exhaust if I remember correctly. One is Nismo S-tune which bolts on to any regular 370Z. Then there's the new Nismo exhaust which is different design (hangers and piping) and DO NOT fit regular 370Zs. It's made for Nismo Z ONLY. Which Nismo are you referring to? Also, please post threads in appropriate section. This should've been posted in "intake/Exhaust" section. |
So far the ones i've heard I didn't really like. There's not enough grunt in them. I guess it's to quite or to raspy.

for under $2K I would say Fast Intentions is the winner. |
FI, Berk, GTM, AAM...i prefer the angled exhausts over the stacked but i still love berk and aam

Also, I did not know the Nismo exhaust (the real Nismo) could not fit the standard 370z couple, what makes it not fit? |
im waiting for Top Speed to make a CBE untill then i like boombop as for sound as for gain and sound gotta give it to FI
|
F.I is the winner to me. good gains and good rumble
what more could you want for 1200 bucks around. cheaper than borla and others and a little bit more than berk |
There is no such thing as "Best". Everyone's demands and expectations will vary. Some may think that $4000 titanium exhaust is best, other may feel a $1200 stainless system is. The question is not really valid in that all will sound and perform a bit differently (not necessarily in proportion to the money spent)

i guess if we wanted to say which one is the best, we would have to calculate the price, hp gain, and reliability. kinda like that thread which is the best modification for the buck.
