Tanabe Medalion, is the best in every category, I love it. Picking an after market exhaust will always be subjective though. I've always been a Tanabe, and Amuse fan.

Fast Intentions, why? because I have it and I love it & because I was told by a really good mechanic that that's the best one you can get. That's it, question answered.
Your welcome.

So I wanted to revive this thread since it's a bit old.
I'm looking for a new exhaust with a good HP boost and an aggressive note. Armytrix seems to be pretty good and I see a lot of claims for Fast Intentions as well. I'm looking to spend under 5K and want something that is pretty reliable and safe to install. Recommendations? |

FI is going to be the overwhelming response. Proven numbers and a solid build. although somewhat of a wait and a little more than some others. But you get what you pay for.

The best exhaust for me would be a Motordyne E370. Heard it in person one time. Want it!
Edit: I've posted this before but it's worth posting again to show why I am so in love with it. Sounds exactly the same as I remembered when I heard it in person

•The X Pipe has 3 options. Non Resonated, 12" Resonators or 18" Resonators. The resonators are strictly noise canceling devices. They DO NOT hinder performance at all. They are primarily designed to cut down interior noise resonance AKA "Drone"! The longer the resonator, the quieter the interior noise.

Borla, it's one of the only true dual exhausts for the 370Z, utilizes an H pipe, it's affordable, nets respectable hp/tq gains, has a 1,000,000 mile warranty and they've been in the exhaust game for decades unlike most of the other choices.

I get a lot of compliments on my Ark Grip V2 as far as looks and sound. Putting it on was a real PIA though. Fitment does not seem perfect IMHO. I say FI is the way to go. I plan on switching over to FI later down the road.

I also thought the Grip and the F.I. sounded best from the youtube videos I've watched. I was set on getting the Grip since I didn't want to wait for the F.I. but I lucked out and found a used one.
