Get this, they only had my name verbally.
Deciding not to drop the coin on a Vette, we went to the home town Nissan dealer (in my wifes 2013 535i BMW) to test drive a 2014 370Z. I had to produce license, proof of insurance, and then my wife couldn't go on the test ride cause the salesman had to go.
I test drove my Nismo and they guy just handed us the keys and said to have fun. Brought it back, negotiated the price and drove out of there with an SR Nismo!

I've mentioned it before, but I was told by the Nissan Dealer that I couldn't sit in the GT-R because "People who buy those cars don't even test drive them". I took that to mean that they should have left selling the car to infiniti...Long story short, love my Z, enjoying the 60K in savings...

One told me that the gauge cluster on the dash was "a new feature/option" on the 2013 model year... Didn't do business there.

When I go to Town North Nissan for service (if I don't do it myself or take it to UPREV), there is a specific tech that does my maintenance. One of the service managers lets the tech know that his favorite NISMO is in and he doesn't let anyone else mess with it, lol.

From my experience, Bates NISSAN is the one to stay away from. They told me that they wouldn't even touch my car to change the oil because it was modified.

It works both ways, most sales folk (like most human beings) don't have a clue in life...then again, most customers don't know a damn thing either. My fav had to have been when a co-worker asked me if you could fit a baby seat behind the front seats. Stopplayinbro

When the salesman told me these v6 engines had 450+ horsepower. I just walked away and laughed. Next salesman please

from the sales manager "the sport package comes with a front air spoiler, not the front aero deflector"(they are the same frickin part) when trying to explain why mine did not have it on. needless to say they got me one and put it on no charge.

Unfortunately they then start to reproduce and create future generations of stupid. As they say "ya can't fix stupid".

in my community there's a sad family of 3 generations of fail.

grandpa = failed
son = failing
grandson = will fail

so we call the young one mr. will

I'm presently in the market for a new Nissan dealer to rectify some problems....here's a few things my dealership told me last summer.....

Service Manager...."you can't expect the replacement parts to fit the same as the original factory parts"....WTF ???

Mechanic (after a test drive to check the clutch)....had no idea what Synchro Rev Match does and was confused about the "throttle blip" during shifting.

And you ask why I'm switching dealerships....and some of you say "why even go to a dealership" !!!

I hope you have better luck than I've had. The 370Z is, IMNSHO, a fantastic car but I can't find anyone in my area that I feel comfortable letting work on it.

When I was interested in a 370z (eventually purchased) the salesman wasn't sure if the car had the sport package (or what it was)..and had no idea what rev match button was for. . This was at a NISSAN dealer where they had several new 370z's in stock..
