Please read. I said "IT SEEMS LIKE" 50% of the Zs have this problem. Obviously I have not conducted a phone or e-mail survery. I just happen to see the rattle listed as a common complaint.

I hope this clears it up for you.

OK but you have no idea weather the search hitws are all independently unique of each other or are duplicated postings from a limited number of individuals or just blog propogations. In other words your "search hit" universe is certainly suspect to make the 50% claims you are making.

Nissan is rather notorious for rattles... every Nissan I've been in thus far had somesort of a rattle or squeaky door problem. Facts are, if you wanted to be certain you wouldn't have any rattles, you would've bought a Porsche.

That's kind of a ridiculous statement...Porsches aren't perfect either (yeah, I've had 8 of them). There are so many production variables that even the most expensive and revered nameplates can have a rattle here and there.. My Z is like a bank vault. Pretty darn good for the $$ and humble origins..

one of my cars is a 2008 honda fit. its great for what it is, around town, haul stuff in, i can get 2 bikes in the back with the seats down for instance.

i think its honda's cheapest car.

the 2009+ has more features than the 2008-. so its not chock full of amenities.. but it is put togehter like a swiss watch.

it is a matter of attention to detail.. and that attention does not necessarily have to come at a premium price..

You're right, and I don't really give a ****. Again, for clarity, I said it SEEMS like 50%. Is it really that big of deal? Do you need the attention or something?
