My Wife hasn't sat in HER Z in months....Evr since I got the Sierra Truck...That is all she drives.

And she won't even get near the Z/28, even for a ride...

ubs234 05-02-2013 07:00 PM

Did you have to take off the kick plates and then wrap em up?

dmhenderson 05-02-2013 07:15 PM

iirc it's really hard to get that aluminum off the backing without bending it.

ubs234 05-02-2013 07:30 PM

So how do you even put it on?

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/01/9ejymasa.jpg I got lucky and got a discontinued project mu shift knob off a friend just recently. It has a solid weight feel but what's cooler is its built in torque tensioner that none other I've seen has. What that does is eliminate any sudden twisting of the knob on or off its threads no matter how hard you beat on it. A rare piece indeed.

IIRC, it was outrageously expensive with little to no gains (or maybe there was no data?) :icon14:

Looks :yum: though

If you think that's pouring money into the car, wait until you see the next version :icon14:

The current setup is more time than money because most of that is fabricated by myself, in my little garage.

They only Top Secret piece I have is the engine cover, I recently found out that has been discontinued as well.

Wiggins is the guy with the Top Secret everything. His engine bay is very sweet.
