If you want to track with them, you don't. For the street they are fine.

I would assume you mean the OEM nismo rotors are fine.

Also hey if anyone has a line on nismo RC front brake ducts, I have had no less than 3 potential sources fall through in the past week (!!!) and am becoming frustrated. I would love to get them installed before show season so if someone has an idea where I should be looking, please let me know.

Those cheap little foam motorcycle air filters would not allow enough volume of air to flow to the engine to breath properly on a 370z

Hey here's an idea! Let's not sh*t on other people's cars. If you don't like something, keep your mouth shut or at least offer constructive criticism instead of being a jerk :)

Please tell us more about how companies that use foam filters don't know what they're doing...

Or some other high quality blanks. Cryo-treated would be optional.

Its the size and surface area of the air filter that is to small to allow the engine to breathe properly, those green foam filters look like they be long on a 350cc dirt bike and they appear to be only about 5" dia x 2" in size.

In comparison to the external K/N units they appear to be a 1/3 rd of the size or less.

rAiN 03-17-2013 03:56 AM

dont feed the troll, thats what they craves for

Unique_Z 03-19-2013 12:39 AM

I'm sorry they are bigger than that. Top Secret uses HKS air filters for their intakes. I havent measured but they are either 200mm (7.87in) or they are the twin 150mm (5.9 in). Most likely with the 80mm inlet.

HKS USA Super Mega Flow Reloaded Kits (more)

Its just my tiltshift photography that makes it look miniature. :P

Hey Kaien,

If you are still having issues, you can do what VDC said and plastidip the white on your car first, and also, use some thick duck tape on the backside of the fang cover. I did this on my EVOR fang cover, since I screwed up my bumper with scratches. Just leave a few areas exposed for 3m tape, just enough to hold it forward - the screws on the bottom do most of the work.

not that rare anymore though, because if you have one that doesn't work a dealership will give you a free one that does work... for a while :ugh2:

I believe it's done with Dinoc

dmhenderson 05-02-2013 07:06 AM

I'd love to get rid of that aluminum and replace with CF. It dents too easily anyway.

That is correct!

dmhenderson 05-02-2013 08:43 AM

Oh poop. I was hoping it'd be true CF. Looks great though!

kenchan 05-02-2013 09:20 AM

it's decoration. if it looks good, then it's doing its job. not like it's going to save you any weight or anything.

dmhenderson 05-02-2013 09:30 AM

I meant in terms of wear and tear. I don't know how that wrap would hold up on a kick plate.

lol I didn't think I was going to shave seconds off of my quarter time ;)

kenchan 05-02-2013 09:33 AM

that's been on my car for 4yrs. and im not sure how you dented your sill in the first place? just lift your leg higher?

dmhenderson 05-02-2013 09:39 AM

My wife punctured a hole in the rubber door seal on the driver side with heels when it was her car :shakes head: I should look into replacing; wonder how much it'll cost...
