1st year 370z buyers
 

I have noticed there r a lot of complaints about engine harshness. Generally my rule of buying a vehicle in it's 1st year of production is a bad idea. U should wait until all the kinks r worked out. I wanted 2 wait til year 2 but things ended up working out differently. Even with it's very few shortcomings I am very pleased wit the vehicle. I plan on tuning the hell out of the car so hopefully any problems that would have occurred I would have already changed that part. Enjoy ur automobile and the satisfaction u get from spanking the asses of other sport cars.

The same engine was around last last year in the G37.

since 07 it's been used on the 08 model

I try and encourage people to take these complaints seriously but in perspective. They are very minor. I am 110% satisfied with getting the vehicle this year. I've enjoyed every second in and out of the vehicle so far (although the preference is to be inside it rather than standing outside and staring at it).

Generally a good rule, I think. But in this instance, I do not think the 370Z is new enough to worry about it. The V6 has been around for a while in the Infiniti, and the rest of the car borrows more from the 350Z than it introduces as new. Go ahead! Get one and just enjoy it! I did and I do not regret it (yet).:tup:

It's people like us to find issues for others to reap the rewards besides if everyone had that mentality there wouldn't be any problems to fix cause there would be no problems that's the price of being the first on a first year model. just an observation. I didn't learn since I also own a 70. :tup:

the 370Z was not a complete redesign or new car as the 350Z was so I doubt there will be many if any "new" model issues.

I find the 370Z as a big improvement in many ways over the 350Z

This car is near flawless. I have yet to find one feature that I don't like. The only thing I miss from my 350Z is low end tq of the VQ35DE (03-05 Z). Other than that, superb job Nissan. :tup:

As for changes, I don't expect any huge ones. Only thing I can see is increase in base MSRP in future.
