Splash Guard Adhesive
Based upon my earlier post, I have to re-install the set of 4 splashguards that were on my car (factory option) because 2 of them are not laying flush with the body.
I know they screw in thru the wheel well, but the rear splash guards use an adhesive tape of something to connect with the body as well. What do I use and are there any instructions for the re-install?

Use 3M weatherstrip adhesive (the super grade not standard)
Clean both sides that the glue will be applied to. Apply the glue to both sides. Bolt on the pieces or screw them on. Then tape everything nice and tight until the glue is cured. |
