I let it warm up for a couple minutes. I feel bad tho...with my exhaust being loud in the cold morning...it wakes up the neighbor next door....but at the same time..it sounds so nice lol

I voted 6 but 1 & 6 are almost the same I just took the time to read them all. As long as you aren't driving your car hard/spirited until all temps have warmed up you should be good

My car is making a weird noise when shifting gears, I notice the noise goes away after 2-3 min. Could it be because I don't let the car warm up first? I normally turn it on, put on seat belt and I'm off. This has been my process for the last 11 months and the sound just recently started when I switch the battery. Any thoughts?

I typically wait for the RPM to come down to the 1 or below.

I keep it under 7k, when it's all warm and gooey inside, I let her have that extra 500 she's been begging me for.
edit: damn, I sound like a perv

No waiting, start and go, just keeping the revs down until the oil is warmed up.

30sec is more than enough time for oil to flow, we're not driving no carbureted engine.
