S-tune package are parts like rims, suspension, intake, exhaust, and an ugly bodykit u can add on a regular 370z. The Nismo 370z is a completely built car by Autech that includes chassis strengthening, additional seam welds, yamaha dampers, nismo shocks springs/sways, the Nismo V2 functional body kit, a TD exhaust with a H pipe and a reflash to 350hp. Look it up on Nissans website for more info.

I dont think the 370 has the chassis work... I think its just suspension, rims, and body.

The 350 had that stuff, not the 370.

so what's a better deal, buy the sport/touring 370zand add aftermarket bolt on's like the stillen headers, g3 intakes, exhaust, etc
would that be just as good as the nismo? what has more hp gains?
and what exactly would I have to do to make it just as good as the 370 I love the nismo 370 but don't have enough money

I believe the 370's are getting between 250-270 whp. The 370 Nismo is around the 295 whp.

An intake/exhaust/header would be waaaaaaaayyyyyy cheaper then buying the Nismo and deliver much higher numbers to the rear wheels... like in the 305 range. The cost of those mods (outside of suspension) might ring up to around $2500.

Base + Sport + $2500 = faster than Nismo 370z (Looks better? Well that's just taste right?)

Well...Not really. Crank on the standard car is 332, Crank on the Nismo is listed at 350. About the same gain you can get from a Cat Back exhaust. The Nismo has the "nismo" exhaust which accounts for the gains (and supposedly a slight ECU tweak to account for it). Wheel (dyno) hp difference is less than 15hp. I've yet to see a Standard car and a Nismo tested On the same dyno to verify your claims.

S tune is overrated and over charged by Nissan! Just one of there money gimmicks since they have caught on to how easy the public is over here in america.
Buy the base and spend your money wisely and you will blow the doors off the Nismo and have a pocket full of money left to party with.Thats what I'am talking about when it comes to bragging rights!
As far as I'am concerned the only thing I need from Nissan is there car and warranty and its see ya later unless a major problem that is warrantied!Anything else over the counter is a rip off!

Those aren't my claims. That's from a fellow 370z Nismo owner who just got his car on a dyno. So if anything, it's his claims. But since you haven't seen it yet there Modshack, I guess it doesn't matter.

Blown32 is right! Buy the base and build, you will be cheaper and higher performance long before Nismo prices/performance.

Yeah buy the base and start modding and say bye bye to warranty.
Buy the NISMO and you have the performance already, and a warranty.
NOt saying that is right for you...but that NISMO is hot and comes with all the goodies
I would need for a weekend warrior.

Vector, I don't believe Modshack was saying if he doesn't see it that it isn't true. What he is saying is that unless your friend put his Nismo AND a base 370Z on the same dyno on the same day that the numbers can't be compared.

I think there is more to it than being said. There is the question of what exactly is the difference between Nismo 370z vs S-Tune Nismo 370z? We all know the Nismo 370z that is coming to the US (not yet Canada), but on the net, I see vids of Japanese S-Tune Nismo 370z. They look NOTHING like the american nismo. Different wheels and tires, totally different bumpers and wing, Nav system, and a different shift lever. Check this vid to see what I mean [youtubehq]CD7xaXa5BSM&NR=1[/youtubehq]

The differences are just bolt on parts. You can buy all the tacky (IMO) body parts now, all pre-painted. Suspension parts, wheels etc are all available as well under the "Nismo" brand. YOu can even get that horrid sticker kit....oof!
