How about a switch for the rear hatch?
Most cars have it so why not a switch for the rear hatch. Should be easy to find the circuit. Just a thought.

yeah that's always irked me that I can't hit a button and pop the hatch for my wife when she wants to put something in there.

Simple, really....... Easy enough to test if that would work. I did the same thing to turn on the radiator fans on my Vette.

I may have to look into this while my interior is disassembled this spring.... I would like to wire a remote release into the trunk switch too!
