my worst i think was i was on a call through the nav bluetooth and when i got to the next light i went to hit the hang up button on the nav but hit the OFF button on my car

luckily i was at a red light when that i did that.

That's funny (watch, I'm going to do that now...).

I've done the 6th gear/reverse thing a couple of times.

For the first few weeks, I'd always be slow to get out of the car, because I was reaching for keys to pull out of the ignition...

I think Nissan installed the ignition button in the wrong place

Also non sport package model on this car has Terrible understeer, be careful to all new base model buyers.

I know exactly what you mean, JungleZ. Dealership gave us a red, base 6MT loaner Z when we bought ours (they had to ship it from a dealership in OK). It didn't help that the tires were freaking bald, but I got to experience the ridiculous understeer the very first time I tried to push a turn at speed

I think you can induce understeer in just about any car if you come into a corner too fast.

You're absolutely right, but I can take the exact same turn in my Sports pkg Z with tires just as bald (or even more so) faster and with much less understeer. I can take it at the same speed with zero understeer. There is a noticeable difference that I was able to replicate and demonstrate to myself more than once.

I do think SPOHN has the lead though with the hood pins. Twice.

About a month after I got my Z I was backing up from my garage my friend had his BMW
Parked at an angle behind me. He offered to move it but I said I could back up no problem .
Long story short after some distractions I forgot about his car being behind me
And I hear a sound and at first I thought I ran over a water hose or something.
Then Im like f*** . Went out to see the damage his side fender was dented
My rear bumper was fine no dents just a deep scratch that I got re painted shortly after .
Our bumpers are hard haha . I was backing up at like 5mph

2nd day living at a new place downtown Dallas... I got in my car started to reverse looking over my right shoulder I didn't see the huge concrete piller on the left and needless to say it looked like the Incerdible Hulk kicked rear driver side of my car.

It was in my 07' G35, thank god it wasn't my new 2013 Z, lol

I'd say most embarrasing

When I first got the car, it was the first one I had driven where you had to push down to get it into reverse.

So I got the car home from the dealership and tried to put it in my parking spot, couldn't reverse lol. Kept trying for a few minutes, didn't want to break the shifter...so I put it in Neutral and pushed it into the spot.

That night I called my buddy....and he proceeded to laugh his azz off for about 15 minutes...and explained to me how to get it into reverse.

at least that was day one
