What would u do to 370 if you won 75k

Being a practical sort of person (until I bought a Z) I would pay it off, buy tires, and start researching all this fancy hot rod stuff everyone else talks

Pay it off, invest the rest. $75k isn't much at all unfortunately.

Oh no doubt, but I wouldn't spend it all on one or two things. It would have to make me money.

I'd never turn down free money, not even a nickel.

A paid off house is illiquid and you can get a loan for 3.75% and you can make double that Investing. Some people need a paid off home...With Interest rates below 4%, it is a no brainer....Re finance, or buy a Home with only 20% down.

Second I would invest at least 30K to 50K in Dividend paying stocks and reinvest the dividends...At 7% it will double in 10 years...

Then just for fun, blow 10K to 15K on your car if you want. And bank the rest for unknown futures costs...
Basically, I need this man around me to get my back on the straight path!

That's one of those things you find in poorer parts of the country. People don't have money and even less in the way of money management skills. They come into a sudden chunk of change and they blow it immediately on something frivolous.

For instance, nearly condemnable house....but a huge above-ground pool? Wait...what?

I get buying the toys and stuff, but...

I see alot of people saying they would invest which I think is the best idea.I think the purpose of this is thread to see what crazy modifications you would do to this particular car with 75k.

In that case, I'd probably take several performance driving courses, then upgrade the suspension and some more NA mods... maybe go FI, not sure.

Maybe throw some new paint on after a while - I still really like my color.

Maybe a decent sound system (nothing extravagant).

That'd still leave me a ton of money left over. I guess I'd use that for tires.
