GTR is awesome but why not FI your Z and shock others with a sleeper.. invest the rest make it back and then still buy the GTR if you change you mind. |

Definitely go for the home, you put a huge chunk down, get a low interest rate and then the interest you pay is another deduction on your taxes.
Then if you have some left play the market. Problem is if you put all 75k in the market you'll have to pay taxes on it plus whatever interest it made when you go to take it out.

Well the Z is how I like it now, so prolly save the 75k invest some of it into maintenance (oil changes etc)
Then again I do all my service myself, so I don’t think I would ever pay for routine maintenance, never have before, and never will. |

If you're looking at getting a used GTR, you might want to try auctions in Houston or Miami. A friend of mine said his freind is an auto dealer and saw '09 GTRs selling for about $35,000 to 40,000 with about 20,000 miles on them. A lot of those cars in those type of auctions were leased. That applies to Ferrari's and other exotics as well. That's definitely the route I plan on going when I get settled and plan on getting that ideal dream car down the road.

Go twin turbo, and awd conversion. Make it better than a GTR

Get a set of Volk wheels, CBE, HFCs, do some home improvement worth $30K, then put the rest down for a Ferrari 355.
