I can see positives and negatives in both models. I almost got a used low mile 350 instead of the z that I have today. But the deal fell through, the 370 is a for sure improvement over the 350. They will always have the,"next greatest thing" around the corner. Who knows, the next z could be the 390z. I'm happy were I'm at now, plan on doing light mods as I go. if I keep it until its paid off, I will most likey supercharge or go Turbo.

I still stare at my 370Z once in awhile. Never happened with the 350 so I go with 370 long term.

The 350 is "bulby, overweight" looking. I never liked it, even from its introduction in '02; it never grew on me. I don't like its profile: short nose, long rear (C pillar on back)...it doesn't flow well. With all due respect to 350 owners, it looks low rent to me, especially the interior. It looks like a "fancier 3rd gen Eclipse." I'd rather have an S2000 over a 350.
The 370 has that gorgeous long nose, short rear deck styling echoed from the S30 240Z. It's ageless granted that you don't rice it out nor sticker-rape it. The 370 looks like a $60,000 car whereas the 350 looks like the $26,000 car it was meant to be. The 370's rear end echoes Porsche 911 because of its voluptuous humps.... |

The 370 will age better it pays homage in its styling to the 240. Obviously we all had a choice to get the 350 and picked the 370 for one reason or another. I don't hate the 350 but I do not like the turn signal lights being separate on the front and rear bumper. You can change the lens out for clear on the front or smoke them to make them look a little better. It's just not a clean look to me. That is the same reason I do not like the '13 370 with DRLs on the front bumper. I guess time will tell.
If you end up getting a 350 I would go with an HR model.

I never liked the 350z, and can honestly say that if Nissan hasn't updated it in 2009 I would have bought a G37 or Mustang.
I know there will be some hating going on.

This is basically a 350z vs 370z thread, we really didn't need another one do we?
They both have their strengths and weaknesses, I personally think OEM to OEM the 370z is a much more refined car with better materials which will probably still age better than the 350z 350z will be a better value though so it will be completely reliant on how the owner took care of either car after that much time has passed |

I actually think there is a similar thread on my350z.com(KingBaby was that you opened up that debate??) and most of people there thinks 350z is much better(look wise) then the 370z. So I think both places are biased. Realistically, it all boils down to the personal taste. IMHO, both 350z and 370z are great looking cars.
