Default Euro Spec Nismo

This is the Nissan 370Z Nismo - BBC Top Gear

Check out the two tone paint and spiffy steering wheel. They also get a rear fog lamp.

Well we will just have to apply our own red tape or paint, to note where 12 O'clock position is on our steering wheels.

Default Thoughts on updated Nismo?

Updated 370Z Nismo Unveiled

Looks pretty badass..along with a slight bump in hp/trq that's a bonus. Really loving the alcantara wrapped steering wheel though!

Produces same downforce as the GT-R

what are your thoughts on the updated nismo?

"Nissan claims the tuned coupe can go from 0-62 mph in 5.2 seconds, 0.1 second faster than before"

^ I wonder how much more would you have to pay to go 0.1 seconds faster lool

I hate how Nissan does it right...folks in charge get rich then new guys comes in and gets it horrible wrong...then they go back and see what worked then try it then get rich again...

Vicious cycle

Soooo Nisan doesn't paint the lower part of the car and puts alcantara on the steering wheel? Would it be too much to ask for more performance from the high performance version of the 370Z? I guess so.

Plus, Nismo cars already look like they have an aftermarket body kit as it is. Buy that thing and no one is going to believe it came that way from the factory. (I'm having a hard time believing it and I read the article)

The two-tone look and the black wheels are not to my liking.

That's why they have the "Nismo" emblem all over the car to remind you. This is the higher performance version of the 370Z. The only way to see the huge gains you're expcecting is with more displacement or forced induction. The chances of that happening to such a niche car is slim. They'll save that upgrade for the next gen Z which is supposedly in the works.

They are making it sound like it's a new kit, when the only things that have changed have been paint schemes and steering wheel. So the Nismo kit has always produced the same amount of downforce than the GT-R it sounds like.

Unless there is some new body design that I am just missing.

"This is thanks to a larger diffuser that features integrated twin exhausts, wider side skirts, a fixed rear wing and an updated front-end with a splitter"
But the pieces look the same as the old Nismo.
