Will the feeling ever go away........

Driving down a straight road, Your palms are sweety, going 70 MPH per hour on 3rd gear and going faster by the second, Your heart is pounding, Your Vision is only concentrated on the road, shifting so fast it becomes a natural instinct. Then looking down at the speedometer with a HUGE SMILE on your FACE  and just thinking "Wow".

Man.......... Everytime I go fast, I just get exited! and Everytime I just think "I love my CAR!"

For those who have been driving MT for a while, I know you know what I'm talking about.

Does the feeling ever go away? because I dont want to lose that feeling, Its awesome! :driving:

Yup.

But hitting a twisty road and rev matching all on your own never gets old. :driving:

When I first got the 370z I thought it was a duckin race car in a straight line(first real sports car).. Now it feels slow. Still fun to drive though!

My Next Step is Drifting! :) I'm so exited to learn! Imagine having to do a U turn, but the light just turn Yellow, So you step on the gas and when you are close enough.....HANDBREAK!!! Do a 180 and just keep getting your way!

I cant wait!

I have owned quite a few sports cars over the years and yes the Z is not the fastest car from the factory. But for the money, looks, and performance that you get, nothing else comes close on the market. Unless you spend lots of $$$. I enjoy the feeling I get every time that I drive it whether it's down the street or another city.

It handles amazingly great, right from the factory. At about 300 to the wheels, it's a nice base HP to start out at. But the car does lack in overall TQ. To each his own, but the Nissan Z has always been on my list of, "Must own' in my life time. Down the road, you can always swap motors, add Turbo's/supercharges.

Either way, your either paying a shop to do the work or the factory. It all depends on what your goals are for the car. Mine were simple, better daily drive ability, will still keeping my Horsepower addiction in check. And having a fully warranty again is nice. I haven't lost that awesome feeling I get every time I drive my Z and I hope I never do. Just my two cents, take it or leave it.

But to answer your question, yes that feeling will go away eventually. You will ALWAYS seeking for more power.

The excitement of the force. The look and feel of the curves. Pushing it to that special limit, and then...satisfaction.

Then the rush is over, the feeling passes, and you roll over to sleep.

Don't worry though, you'll get the urge again after a few hours or a day or so....

Lol
