Damage actually appears to be mostly minor/new fender.... should be good as new after the repairs...

It does pull VERY VERY hard, and I'm not sure if it's alignment, tire, or something more serious. The front tire did not look to line up with the rear when I looked at it, but meh, could be perception. I need 3 new rims (rash from hell on the lips of them) and a new $1700 body wrap (yes, everything but the roof, rear-hatch, rear-bumper, and doors is wrapped edge to edge, full-panel), and... ...there will be some MONEY going into fixing this. |

Sorry about your luck and seeing your pictures makes me feel better about having my Z tucked away in my garage until winter is finished. Good luck with the repairs.

Indeed. I drove my 370Z every day and I still don't regret it. I used to do what you do, but I don't pay for it just to look at it, that was my C6 Z06, and when I sold it, I couldn't help but feel like I had cheated myself by putting it on a pedestal. You pay, you play---one way or another. Like you paying a note for something you don't use. That's what I did with the Z06. One year of ownership, 4K miles.

My buddy just had $15000 plus worth of repair work done on his Z after a rear ender took him out... The car is like new he says and no problems.
Keep the faith!

That's what I thought about my windshield repair...but 6 months later now, I do get a bit of a rattle from the base of it even though they used the correct foam strip. Give it time. I'm pretty bent on selling this car, it's been **** luck since I bought it. Destroyed windshield in day 3 of ownership, less than 500 miles on it, and now this. I better sell while it's still salable!

![]() About 2 years ago I was involved in an accident, total cost of repairs was $9,000. After the repairs the car runs like new and it has been on the Tail of the Dragon twice. Nobody believe thay my car was in an accident when I tell them. Keep the faith!

I feel ya on selling her. My fiance's C300 had a wrench fall down into the engine while driving (Tire Kingdom thread) and the cost to repair was just under $900. We're looking at the same car/same year/same everything with 30,000+ less miles on it and going to take a $5,000 hit just to know it's never had the damage we reported on ours.

Let me know what. I'm all ears. I like the look of the BRZ, and at 220-230bhp, 2700#, 4-piston calipers, better rims, alcantara everything, NAV, etc. the STi should be pretty nice. But I'm not bent on it. Tell me, what would you recommend? I was looking to downsize into a $30-35K car in about 3 years before I built a house, but since...here we are, I'm taking the move a bit early.
