A very good video about how VVEL works!

I stumbled across this today, not sure if it is a repost and if it is I apologize. I did a quick search and nothing came up. Also watching this video I came to realize that the VVEL is actually taking away the function of the throttle body itself (to a degree) and operating more like a diesel to get you that quick throttle response.

Pretty neat

Thats a limitation of the ECM programming and drive by wire, not the VVEL which has been discussed and solved in all the uprev talks in this forum. The throttle response in my 370z is very good, and I only expect it to get better when I change the flywheel out.

Yea, i'll do uprev tune later this year, but its sucks that i have to spend money to get throttle to respond they way it should.

Throttle response on my Z is Greatly Improved since I upgraded the air intakes, the Cats and the CBE. Whereas before there was that aggravating slight hesitation from when I pressed on the gas and when the engine responded, it is now totally gone - so much so that I just can't keep my foot out of it...! :driving:
