Nismo ECU tune on Regular Z?
 

Hey all, im still a noob at this but my buddy just bought a 2013 Nismo Z and it got me thinking, is it possible to get the Tune that's used in the Nismo ECU, and use it on a Base or Sport Z? My point is that when I get my Sport Z in a few years, could I have access to the Nismo Tune nissan uses and save myself from spending a whole lot more money on an actual Nismo Z? Can we put a nismo tune on a base or sport Z to save money from rather buying the actual Nismo Z. I like the power output and benchmarks of the Nismo but I hate the look of it and like the Sport look instead, and would like to have a Nismo tune on a Sport Z with intakes exhaust etc to top it off. Thanks for any explanations, and let me know if this doesnt make sense! :icon17:

Do a search this has been beaten to death on here. An uprev tune and cat back/cai will surpass a stock Nismo.

The Nismo tune only gives you 18 extra ponies with a slightly better flowed Nismo exhaust. I don't think it worth the effort. People buying Nismo is really for the look(I love it but it's subjective). Once you get a base/sport 370, get a CAI, HFC/TP and CBE then have it UpRev tuned(Around 500 bucks) and your gold. Since you are in Mass, Kaizen Tuning is a good shop for that. Ballistic tuning in NH is also a great place to visit.
