Year: 2010
Model: (Base or Touring) Sport Transmission: (6MT/7AT) 6MT Miles: 105k at the time (it happened in 1/2017) Lock Revision: C I believe City: Charleston State: SC Country: USA Towed: Yes Did You Disable SLU? No Downtime (how long without car)? 3 days I had forgotten about this until I received a notification on my phone from the site. My original bill from Nissan was $1,200+/-. I called Nissan North America who told me to file a claim in writing. I filed and they responded quickly telling me that my particular VIN # isn't included in the 2009-2010 recall. I was PO'd and told them I didn't care if it was in the VIN range or not, that I had the same issue thousands of others are having. They escalated my claim and have offered to reimburse me for the parts by NOT labor. So, they are willing to pay me about $800. I guess I should take it but wanted to see what you all had to say. Let me know, thanks! |
