Dam that's brutally ugly

Snakes709 01-04-2013 03:00 PM

My car or the oem aero kit?

tWeEzY 01-06-2013 02:37 AM

Had a similar issue when i bought my z. As long as his name is not on the registration or title, he shouldnt need to sign anything.

HappyZmoke 03-06-2013 09:59 AM

2005 sti for life!

:icon18: Say whu? Calling the Evo a boy racer car then heralding the STi as if it looks better. While looks are subjective, the STi's up to the most recent version look like $hit. Great car, fugly as hell. Evo's have always been better looking IMO.

That aside, the Evo is far from a downgrade. It's a fantastic car and has been a dominant car on the track over the years for a reason. Of all the cars I've owned, my Evo 8 had the best steering feedback and confidence inspiring handling. It was very easy to drive hard and could be modded very easily with little money. None of this is a reason the OP is giving for the change and I wouldn't trade mine for an Evo being in SoCal. But I loved AWD for those crappy days of weather. So being in Ohio, I see this as a smart move. Other than losing your a$$ financially.

Congrats on the Evo. You will have a blast in it.

Don't give up so soon

Well sorry you feel the need for a trade. I'd try the tires first to see the difference before you do a drastic deal as in trading in you ride. So if you do go for the trade just dont settle on one car because you want it. Take your time and get the best deal you can, I got my baby for $25K

mhcoss 03-06-2013 05:53 PM

yea OP wasted a lot of money when the only issues was tires.

IMO, the front grill reminds of Yosemite's mustache, just my opinion.

Congratz man!:tiphat: I wish I could own an evo along with my z. Maybe one day... And nice color too! White and blue are the best color for evo IMHO.

Lookwise I love both new Evo and Sti(hatch not sedan). I used to fight myself so bad on getting an evo x or new sti. Still not sure. So I got Xttera instead for a completely different purpose.:icon17: But I know in the future, this Evo or Sti thing will come back to me again. Lol.

actually those were my choices STI, EVO and Z

STI was underpowered, and no auto option test drove and nice drive though.

EVO not bad looking, underpowered, but limited dealer presence in my area, and the salesmans i did talked to seemed not interested in my business.

Z great deal on price, good power, great styling, deal closer was the saleeman, no BS and worked the deal i wanted.

that said they are all great rides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Good Luck!!:tiphat:

Evo underpowered? Only if you're doing over 110mph all the time. I did 90mph on a donut highway exit in a evo with ease. I do the same maneuver at 65 mph in my Z with difficulty. They're different cars designed for different reasons. I myself appreciate ALL the Evo's features in spite of it's shytty interior. It's a true sports entry and have just as much respect for it as I have the Z, the STi, camaro, mustang, Evo, gencoupe, corvette, cayman, boxster, 911 and GT-R etc...

I love sports cars man. They all have their positives and negatives. For every negative, I can emphasize a positive and vice versa on ALL MODELS... It's all based on your needs and applications how it will swing for you in your decisions..

Drive safe and enjoy:tiphat:

I had an Evo 8 too and I have to agree with the steering feed back and handling, honestly it felt better than my 2012 z in handling and steering feedback. The z is just a better overall car
