Interior measurements of the 370z?
So I went back to a local Nissan dealer and sat in a brand new Nismo Z33. It was a snug fit but not too bad, but could have been better. Felt like the steering wheel didn't adjust further enough upward. There was not as much headroom as I would have liked but I managed. I hope the 370Z has a tad more headroom and allow the legs to be folded out flatter than in the current car. So, anyone have any of the inside track on interior dimension measurements? Thanks in advance.

Got em'. They're not much different from the current car: head room is @ 38.2 (as is with the Z33) and legroom @ 42.9 inches (.6 more). So little to NO difference whatsoever, which can be bad as the Z33 was pretty snug. I actually checked my height again today in about year and I've grown a half inch! LoL. So as before I was just 6'5" I'm now 6'5.5" (with shoes, w/out an inch less). I thought you stopped growing as a guy @ 21??? I'm 23 now. Who knows? I really hope I can fit in the Z because I won't tolerate being cramped in a car I'm going to be driving for some time. Or I'll have to take out the stock seats and replace them with ones that have less cushioning that will allow me to sit lower and fold my legs flatter, but this would appear to be at the expense of safety in the possibility I'd get T-boned in an accident (not being pessimistic but realistic). Not good. Otherwise no Z for me and that would be a DAMN shame. Holding onto hope that somehow it'll be a good fit...or am I just being naive???

6'5.5 you say? Can't help you there. I'm 6'2 and I fit in the old Z33 just fine. This definitely isn't going to be a 'roomy' car... but hey if you can't fit, just wait for the ragtop version!
mmmmm.... Nismo Z :driving: |
