First Plans for Your Z in 2013
 

If you are like me, you have already been thinking of, or making plans for new and improved stuff for your Z. In January, I am planning on getting my new AAM exhaust installed and making a trip to SoCal, Specialty Z for an UpRev tune. How about you???

Got ART pipes for Christmas so those will get installed in the next couple of days, headlights got dropped off at TwistedHouzings to get modded yesterday, and then ordering the Motordyne E370 CBE next week.

I am getting my Zele Exhaust put on.
My Sparco Seats customized and installed.

Some blue Kevlar for the interior.

My next mod will probably be an exhaust and sway bars but dont know what brand I will be going with yet

I'm hoping to buy a Z soon after the first of the year.
When I do the first thing it'll get as soon as possible is a Viper alarm system with a field disturbance sensor and battery backup.

Swift Springs, Whiteline Sways, spacers, ART pipes and the Motordyne shockwave e370 exhaust. It's gonna be a fun year with the car. Oh yeah, and make a trip to the tail of the dragon and around that area....

Take it out of storage April, drop her off at the autobody shop April 10th (already booked) to get the aerojacket fenders on while I fly off to Maui for 6 days :p

Maybe the amuse sides and rear sometime mid/late 2013 or the FI exhaust undecided.

Also replace the Nissan front badge with a nice shiny "Z" badge I got off ebay.

Swap out the frosted map lenses with the clear ones and add white LEDs in there and the light behind the seats in a roadster with a blue LED.

Hope you love your AAM exhaust as much I like mine that was installed about a month ago. Sweet.

My "Z" emblems should be here just after the new year. After that, tires are a MUST. After that, definitely the Stillen G3, an exhaust, and a tune. Come April, as much autocross as possible. I was terrible during my first couple of events in the Z. I need as much seat time as I can get...I'm thinking EVO driving school. It's autocross on a short course with a ton of runs. I'm thinking coilovers and sway bars once I plateau on the stock suspension. That'll be the year after, though. I need to buy a house first. And a beater.

From my excel spreadsheet for my 370Z, I have linked Courtesyparts.com. But, as the time comes to order parts I have quoted for myself in my spreadsheet, I will definitely be looking for better deals if they exist. :tup:

Awesome, I can't wait! Yup and I got them with the 5" GTR titanium tips as well. I think they will look pretty sweet...:happydance:

Heh, I stopped reading at the inquiry post and went into my workbook to find where I have budgeted them and any links I gave myself. Then, I wrote a reply to the question, and followed by reading your post....THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!...now, I have to update my workbook with better prices and a link!

Once I take it out of storage:

- Pull that steering lock fuse lol
- Take it for a full detail/paint polish etc
- Evo R Black Badges (just ordered from the Z store)
- Hood struts (z1motorsports)
- Give her a big hug and tell her how much I missed her over winter!

Buying the below in January so I can install in spring:

- Bridgestone RE-11 tires 275/305 (fronts are bald and need a nice set for weekend time attack)
- INGS+1 CF front lip
- Hotchkis sway bars
- Motul 600 brake fluid
- Stoptech Stainless steel brake lines

There is an Autocross/Time Attack 3 day school event in April...I want to go badly but the Saturday session falls on my finals for one of my sport leagues....don't know what to do....I do ok now but really want to learn the ins and outs properly :confused:

I just hope I can keep my Z as there is uncertainty about job security at where I work due to military budget cuts that are going to happen in 2013. :shakes head:

January - install gen 3 CAI and my new black evo-r emblems.

March - Install FI resonated HFCs

August - FI 18" resonated CBE and a tune

Hopefully some new wheels by the end of the year

oh yeah to add to my headers, tune scheduled for 2 weeks from now. all fluid changes in february and hopefully the motordyne m370 intake manifold. march or april, sway bars probably hotchkis. june or july, swap from springs to coilovers and depending on the end of the year, bp turbo kit or atleast down payment to start it :happydance:

I have FI exhaust and have scraped the sh!t out of it,and I'll give you a tip you can't see it even if you bend down and it doesn't leak.

Drive it more often! ;) And, maybe, just maybe, get a Gen3 intake.
