I just can't get past the looks of the evo. Just looking at the 2 sitting at the line I already know which one I would rather. Honestly, I dont care if the evo ran a 10 flat.
Maybe its that fast because its afraid of its own shadow.:tiphat: |

the reason is i just need an AWD car. i made a MISTAKE getting an RWD and plus the mods are so expensive. i didnt have any problems with money until my gf bought a new car a couple months later.
it was so much fun in the summer time. now that winter is here and all these damn construction is going on. the Z just feels like its being abused on the roads. im getting hated on bc im trying to switch to an evo. really? |
lol

but no seriously. What makes you want to trade this car in on an evo? Faster? Not by much if any w/out mods. 4 doors? Ok, I understand that if you truely need to haul more than 2 people around. If your a bachelor... It will not help you pick up ladies/men. I agree with the AWD though, it's very convenient in every way outside of drivetrain loss.
I think you should make your decision though outside of this crappy weather. It's really not a good way to make a decision. I keep thinkin about selling my car but I know I will be happy again once the nicer weather is here. |

If you truly feel you made a mistake, then at least you know. When getting a Z you need to factor in the more expensive mods, only a 2 seater, probaby storing it in winter etc, you need to know what you're getting into I had a Lancer before, the inside is just so cheap and boring and there are so god damn many of them but if you are going with a fully loaded EVO MR then you'll have fun with it thats for sure. And have to love boost, I crave it so much, but I love my Z and RWD. Good luck! |

Ps. you will dump as much, if not more money into your Evo once you start modding. Just sayin' |

Get the Evo /thread. I had a 370z for 8 months and hated it for what i needed it for. Got my EvoX now and dispite my tuner blowing my engine up i still love it. Engine is at the shop getting a 2.2 stroker kit + headwork installed.
AWD FTW! EvoX vs Viper 423hp EvoX vs. Viper Time Attack - YouTube EvoX vs Corvette EvoX Time Attack #1 - YouTube But in all seriousness. How many miles on your Z? what options do you have? All that stuff comes into play with how much you get for it. You owe 28k on it, lets say the dealership gives you 25k for it. That other 3k will be added onto the price of the 27k evo. Still worth it in my opinion. Dont let the dealership set the price...you set it to what you want. They will always say "yea we cant give you more for your car" or "we cant lower the price of the evo anymore" but they can. When i had my SRT-10, i looked at traded it in for a SRT-10 RC 6 speed, the dodge dealership quoted me $22,000 for what they would give me. I walked away, the next day they called and said they would give me $22,500. I laughed and told them to **** off. My gf at the time wanted me to get a chevy cruze. The chevy dealership quoted me 24k for my srt-10. I ended up going to look at a EvoX and fell in love. They offerd me 22,000 for my srt-10 and asked 43,000 for the Evo. (dont forget im canadian, we pay approx 10k more then the states). I said "nope, heres what i want, 24k for my truck, 40k even for the evo. If you cant do that im going else where". They accepted. Bottom line is dealerships will try to make/save a buck wherever they can. Thats why people are saying do a private sale to get the most out of your car. |
its about to have 11,000 miles. black with sport package and navi. how much can i sell this for?
windshield been replace due to crack windshield. insurance knows about it also. 2010 evo x gsr white. $27,993, 16016 miles. is this a good price and how much lower can i ask for? |

I've been looking at 370s before I got rid of my X and I still like the Idea. I'm just waiting to see how this winter goes cause last winter was lame. |
simply get what you enjoy and try it hard...
I like the Z, since I saw the 240z, always have wanted one, Got the 370z, last car was a 5.0 stang, and enjoyed it... it's your personal statement, so just enjoy what ever satisfies your need. |
