What other Z Cars have you owned??

I was looking at the article comparing the 240Z and the 370Z - look at how the side window outline is almost identical on the 2 cars !!

That got me to thinking about my previous Z Cars. I have had 6 Z's before I recently purchased my 2009 370Z, and all the others were Datsuns, all purchsed when new or almost new.

1974 260Z metalic blue
1977 260Z metalic brown
1980 280Z black
1982 280ZX metalic silver
1984 300ZX white
1988 300ZX red
2009 370Z bright silver

All of them great cars !! I wish I had taken some pics.

I had a 1971 240Z I got back in Oct 1970, and my 2012 370Z I got last April. Love them both.

My 1979 280ZX was an great car. I bought it in 1989 with only 44k miles on it and it was mint. I had it for about 5 years and sold it when I was a junior in college to upgrade to a almost new GTI VR6. Looking back now I wish I would have kept that Z but oh well.

In chronological order of ownership

1972 240Z (stolen, then recovered)
1983 280ZX (replaced stolen 240Z and used as a DD until 240Z was fixed)
1990 300ZX (traded 240Z and 280ZX in)
1971 240Z (replaced 300Z when we started a family - sold when moving back to CA)
1990 300ZX Twin Turbo (still have)
2012 370Z
