remote start for Z

Its been cold lately and I have been driving my Z around since my Wife is using the Jeep. We are babied in the Jeep with remote start and the heater and heated seats turning on.

I was wondering if anyone has installed a remote start to the Z. I would like that feature in the next gen and a good reliable third party kit for my current Z.

Shouldn't be a problem. For automatics, there's the Park/Neutral Position switch. I assume there is something similar for neutral in manuals.

They have to wire up a clutch pressed in/bypass mode too, that's what gets you... Because the clutch won't actually be pressed in, so you'll start your car, and hey presto, your car is through the wall of your garage

I had one installed on my manual car...but decided to uninstall it. it was nice but everytime I get my car serviced somewhere...I get nervous. Now I'm worried free. And I got a DD for winter..I don't really need the starter.

Southark is correct on this. It also monitors the e-brake.
