A/C water dripping on exhausts pipe.?
 

Hello everybody,good morning,i noticed there is a sound after stopping the engine,it is like water dripping on a very hot surface[like exhaust pipe],i wonder our A/C cooling coil drainage tube is it directly above the exhaust downpipe.?Thanks.

It's not A/C water draining.

It is the cats and engine cooling. The metal expands when heated and contracts when cooled.

Is like a ticking sound

That's a different sound than the sound of A/C condensation dripping onto hot pipes... which is normal :)

Oh, my bad.

On the G, it just pee's on the floor, no hot pipe in the way.

Every now and then the Z pees on itself.

Yea, true.

The Z is a toddler compared to the G.

More like an angry teenager...lol
