Whats the best fluid for our car?

I'm looking for the best fluids to use aside from what is given from the factory.

1. Transmission oil (Auto/manual)
2. Brake fluid
3. Engine oil
4. Engine oil filter
5. Engine coolant fluid
6. Power steering fluid

What are the best aftermarket brands/products that you guys would recommend?

:tiphat:

OP search and ye shall find!

Most people on here would probably say Redline or Amsoil

Any decent synthetic will work. Don't over think it

I've used mobile 1 and valvoline syn. so far. No complaints either way

Don't sweat the non helpful responses bro. If the post is repetitive and does not interest me, I'd keep it to myself. No sense putting the op down. The whole idea for this forum is to to have fun and share right.

For me, it's redline or amsoil. Just like what mbmike said. Amsoil has an excellent filter. Check both out. Don't worry too much about Engine Coolant or the PS fluid. Go with what the manual recommends. No sense spending extra on that. Diff story for the vq though. It makes sense to put quality motor oil.

Engine oil is subjective. Motul is great for everything else, ie clutch, brakes, tranny

Fair enough.

I use Mobil 1 for engine and plan on changing just about everything else to Redline or Motul. Oh and I use premium gas (93 octane here in TX).

LMBmikeZ 11-30-2012 11:06 AM

REDLINE!

I like pennzoil ultra synthetic product is in the same line as ultra euro and ultra racing. Pennzoil claim that ultra euro ferrari fill.
