With the proper tires and rims that you wont think much of go for it but remember this make sure your terrain isnt really rough and hilly. try to avoid step hills the Z is way to light. Especially if you have summer tires it'll be a scary climb. I would also recommend if you have extra cash just get a junker and drive it threw whatever you want.

where as has not seen the winter and has no rust on or UNDER the car storing it makes big difference

I have symtech corrosion protection(not sure how well it works) planning to get krown too. I'm driving my car more in one year than someone who stores his in the entire length of their ownership. Hope my Z doesn't lose weight

No. Don't. See how easy that was. Srsly, though, buy a $3kBeater pickup truck/suv from 1995. Don't insure the Z for a few months and just stick it in the garage and drive the 4WD beater for the winter. The wheels and tires will run you 2-3K anyway for snow, just use it to buy a winter car instead.

I didnt buy a Z to have her sit in the garage all winter. I drove it all winter.....EXCEPT days when they called for snow or there was snow on the roads from previous storms. I drove the awd 2nd vehicle on those days.
