370z World Challenge Car getting ready to hit Market!!

hey guys... getting ready to 'take to market' the #52 World Challenge Nissan 370z Nismo .... over $140,000 invested between race team in VA and Nissan Motorsports North America.... might want to put on your radar as i'll be selling for a very aggressive price and it's ready to rock at any racetrack, series, etc.... nearly perfect showroom condition and just featured on display at the Z Nationals last month in the southeast... can always hit me up via private email at: g.shafferbmw (at) gmail.com if interested, etc... TONS to talk about and a 3 ring binder just full of development, build, parts, notes, lap times, in car videos, etc. etc....... cheers. Greg Shaffer --- driver #52

That is actually the #51 sister car driven by Driver/Team Owner Ric Bushey. The car listed here for sale is the #52 machine. By no means are these cars perfect or right off the show room floor. Both cars have seen their fair share of bumps and bruises as expected in a HIGHLY competitve racing enviornment.

Check out the World-Challenge.com to catch more pictures and to find links to race footage from the 2012 season.

Wow this will be awesome for someone who wants a turn-key car

When can we expect to see final pricing or do you guys just want to keep it private?

Cool car, but they'll never get their money out of it. Not a chance.

No offense intended but i would invest in a gtr if i am gonna spend 140k on mods

None taken whatsoever. But keep in mind, this investment has gone into developing essentially a turn key 370Z track car. Believe me when I tell you that the CRP Racing GT-R, a good friend and competitor to us in the GT field, has invested WAY more than $140K in development.

Developing a race car on any level is not cheap. Our cars have been developed to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge Series which features a "sprint" format. Races last generally 50 minutes ~ 1 hour with no pit stops or drive changes.

The pic of the damaged one has silver side mirrors, where as the one for sale has black.

Plus, just read the drivers name. Both cars are sitting side by side.

Nice work OP

in this economy............ and thinking in the norms of reality.... people cant spend or wont dump a bunch of cash on a damaged vehicle, i would pay a decent amount IF I HAD IT for such a car in a better economy

i love the 370z as a whole , not just the car so i guess to the right person who literally HAS to have the car, its a must have. heck its a must have for me too but financially for me i couldnt do it.....

got any videos of it? for us to enjoy that dont have or make alot of money? lol

Sent you a message on Facebook. I'm not in the car market but would love to swing by the shop when I'm in the area next week.
