Go ahead & get the 2009, it will look the same. They rarely make individual years for die cast if the body style is the same. Great gift idea by

Great gift idea by the way. I've got a couple myself & love them.  I have this one in white. It's pretty cool, lights come on engine races & it even plays some techno music  & it's a rollback racer, roll it backwards & it takes off:. It's a good scale size too.
