370Z Dashboard Gauges

the gauges are a clock, battery voltage and oil temp

if you get the Navi, there will be a clock on the screen....it would be nice if someone made some aftermarket parts to change the clock gauge into something more useful....lol

what do you all think??

I'm sure it's in the process already...if not by NISMO, then by others....

^^ thats good, i like a lot of gauges........feels like a spaceship to me...lol

It would be nice to be able to paint the silver gauge cover on the fuel gauge black to increase the contrast. If its really aluminum, perhaps having it anodized black. I wonder if that would be possible.

^^ anything is possible my friend

Unfortunately it is not aluminum, it is plastic and feels really cheap, that was the one thing I was disappointed about when I sat in the car. I hope they change this in the final production vehicles.

^^ that is the final production car...isnt it???

Boost gauge... who's with me!

Just kidding [kinda] , but yea a clock would be kind of pointless with a Nav screen.
Maybe switch it out for water temp or oil pressure.

^^ someone will definitely have a boost gauge...lol..someone out there

the clock is really pointless.......

I'm not 100% sure, it could have been a pre-production car. I'm pretty sure it was the actual car, but sometimes a manufacturer will change little things just before a model goes into full production, based on response from media, etc. I can tell you one thing, sitting in the drivers seat feels awesome ;-)
Everything is laid out really well.

Def. I never look at my speedometer anymore. I just look at the gauge for digital speed. I think for 370Z, they have moved the digital speedo to the left side in this square box.

I may be with you eventually. For now its simply oil temp and oil pressure and EGT's for me.

You'd be surprised how useful the clock is... you just automatically look at it.

^^ no need for 2 clocks if you get the navi...that was my point....lol

yup, but if they Navi's clock is small and on the top corner of the screen, trust me its gonna be a pain to look for it. I know this because it happens with my current car.
