It would be nice to be able to paint the silver gauge cover on the fuel gauge black to increase the contrast. If its really aluminum, perhaps having it anodized

It would be nice to be able to paint the silver gauge cover on the fuel gauge black to increase the contrast. If its really aluminum, perhaps having it anodized black. I wonder if that would be possible.

Unfortunately it is not aluminum, it is plastic and feels really cheap, that was the one thing I was disappointed about when I sat in the car. I hope they change this in the final production vehicles.
