Butt Flickers Rant...
I hate butt flickers with a passion. They strike an angry nerve. Last month as I was exiting, someone in an a '90-ish Accord butt flicked from in front of me. I chased his tail and got next to the car and gave the guys an angry stare. >.<
Tonight, I saw an '87-ish 300ZX. As I drove past the car the passenger threw a cigarette butt AT MY CAR! My first instinct was to dodge the object, but it bounced and rolled off my windshield. So I got next to them with an angry stare followed by a ton of expletives. It was 2 chix... what appears to be teenie boppers like the guys in the Accord. They gave me the "don't give a flying fawk look" like the guys as well. That didn't matter. I was I rolled down the window at the next light. The girls got scared and pulled up past me... so I tried to cool down, but it was hard. A bit of VQ37 fury was unleashed for a few seconds before cooling down and calling it a night. Grrr... Grass fires? Butt flickers. Glowing cigarette butts bouncing off my car. Butt flickers. Damn them to hell. [END OF RANT]

I would give out rep points, but I am out for the day.
I HATE butt flickers, but have never had it happen to me in a car. My thoughts are, "dude... how do you not consider that the same as throwing your trash on the ground? The butt doesn' just disappear!" Someone (i.e. one of the junior Marines if I am on base, etc) has to spend man hours picking this crap up. [end add'l semi-rant] Brian btw, this may be better in the lounge... dunno. (i know it was flicked at your Z, though)

They should eat their damned butts.
Lounge does sound a better place. Probably get moved when AK gets back on this. Or whoever mods this part of the forums.

On a happier side note, I drove through a lighted tunnel with the windows down in 2nd gear at WOT for a few seconds earlier tonight.

The VQ37 sounds a lot like a V8 at times. Maybe it's just good resonation in the muffler (plus its bottlenecking, maybe). Even with people putting on test pipes or doing the muffler deletes before their new ones come in, the VQ seems to be naturally baritone.

Back when I drove an S2000 some douchbag flicked his/her butt onto my car. It got wedged in a little crevice between the top and the rear deck, and melted into the top. Luckily it didn't melt all the way through, but I was still pissed enough to spit nails.
