Key Battery
Noticed when I got in the Z yesterday that it gave me a warning that the battery in my key was down to about 1/4 charge. Coming up on 3 years of ownership in January. Anyone have any idea what the tab would be for having the dealership replace the batteries in both sets?

No idea. Just head over to Wal-Mart and pick up a couple CR2032 button cell batteries for about $6, pop the key FOB open and replace it yourself. Guarantee that will be a lot less than the dealer would charge.
For an Altima FOB, but same procedure: http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/2...acement-Guide/

Same thing happened in my Altima coupe after 3 years. Dealership service department wanted a nice few dollars to do this for me. Instead, I went to Radio Shack and had the kid at the counter do it for the price of the battery, about 6 or 7 dollars. Trick is you need a small screwdriver type tool to open the key fob. Be really careful with it or you'll break the plastic bob and they cost a fortune.

How did it tell you what the battery was in your key fob?
When you plug it into the fobgina?

One other thing, when prying open the case with the screwdriver, put a thin cloth over the tip of the screwdriver, like a sunglasses wiping cloth, to prevent scratches

Sounds to me like you need to replace the battery. Mine wasn't starting up as quick, so i got a new battery and the car starts up 2-3 seconds faster haha. Technically you have to push the "Start" button 2 times to turn the car on anyways..The brake + button=Startup.
