Steering wheel wear

I might have missed a thread if this has already been addressed, but how is the wear on the steering wheels out there?
Has anyone brutally beaten theirs yet?
Anyone cut or scratch from keys or pant rivets?

I have 7k on mine and it's all fine.

I have a scratch on the cheap plastic horn cover. You would think Nissan could have upped the quality on that piece.

I wear leather driving gloves, always have...Never a problem. A Steering wheel is to expensive and costly to replace.

I just noticed a cut in the leather portion of my steering wheel. How much do these run? I have the 40th so I'd need the red leather stitching...unless there is some way to address the cut in the leather.

45,000 on my 09 looks brand new

The trick with the CFE stuff is to either use it VERY sparingly or go all out because if you half-*** it, it ends up looking weird and disjointed from what I've seen.

The interlaced red/black carbon fiber looks sexy as hell though.

The leather really will not wear out for along time. The red stitching will fade after a few years but that can be fixed.

i have some wear on the underside of the wheel. i think my leg keeps brushing it when getting in.

someone on this forum got their entire steering wheel replaced under warranty due to wear. im thinking of trying to get that done before my warranty is up.

I've had mine since 09 with 36k miles now, and it looks just as good as the day I bought it.
