I agree with buddyZ. I'd say that the leather ones are comfier, but they're not. I've driven both.

A G37 is quite comfy though.

I actually have spinal stenosis and disk degeneration on my L4/L5. I have pain all the time (bending/lifting) however I have gotten used to the pain. With being said, I have zero pain sitting in the cloth seats

I don't have much discomfort, either. I've driven my Z to events 11+ hours away and had some foot pain or leg pain. The leather seats caused me some irritation because of my "generous" physique

Got pain under left thigh from the firm seat bolster. Shifted my weight over to the right a bit and I've been okay ever since. But, hey, I'm allowed, I'm an OldGuy (almost 65 and still enjoying my Z---simply at slower speeds)!

You're seat setting must be something wrong then. Even when my back gave out due working out, the Z's seats are still has some support to lower back. Make sure the seat isn't "baller low rida" status.

As dumb as this sounds, take your wallet out of your back pocket. You'd be amazed how having that back there will offset your spine and throw everything out of wack.

2nd the wallet thing!

Also, check your seat height, the lumbar support does not move with the seat so raising and lowering the seat can have a huge effect on where the pressure goes on your back. I've have the seat at the very bottom so my head doesn't hit the ceiling. My back would like it a little higher but I've lived with worse.

3 hours without a stretch is about my limit on these seats.

A G37 is quite comfy though.
Having owned one i have to agree... BUT, my wider friends thought my seats were too narrow even in the G. If you're body stature leans to overweight? The Z or G is not going to be the most comfy car in the world due to how narrow seating is.
This is where, mustang, camaro, challenger and even naturally crappy vette seats win. The bolstering in those cars accommodates wider bodies than most Japanese and some European sports cars.

Grab one of these and put it in the seat in the lumbar area.

I feel you on the back pain!

Not only do we get the jab in the middle of our backs when we push our heads against the headrest, but my butt hurts and lower back hurt after over an hr of driving..

The wallet helps, but i have an ultra thin credit card wallet, so its not a big difference.

I heard that getting the clazzio seats helps with some of the cusion and comfort. For $250 they can customize the stitching and stuff..

I get this pain after 1 hour of driving, and I've tried many seat configurations..
