1. Get his auto ins policy number
2. Call his ins co / ins agent and get a claim number.
3. Bring your car to a reputable auto body repair shop for an "thorough inspection" and get an estimate, use the provided claim number so you are not responsible to pay anything
4. Get a rental car while you car is being repaired, use the same claim for the same purpose
