Its not that hard for people to click on a thread and just ignore it - i mean leaving a comment only increases the chance that the thread in question blows up. I for one dont mind it as I still feel the ratio of info and fact to random tidbits is still quite good.

General discusion is going to typically be non-technical or newbieish so be prepared when you come to this part of the fourm.... I had a similar experience less than a week ago - if you are concerned about your paint this is important as water spots will etch your clear coat over time especially if you have smog or other polutants that increase the pH balance of your rain as well as other minerals, etc.
