I had a '10 Roadster, it bit the dust, but that was because the dealership I bought it from owned it prior and bagged it. I wanted a Roadster over the Coupe as its just a more fun car to drive..but no roadsters were available.

They gave me a '11 coupe and its nice, but I couldn't keep it stock - main reason is because the stock sound of a Z is..well not for everyone. Once you do the mods though it comes alive and well is just that - a muscle car

Buy 2011 or 2012, touring with sports package and you'll be set, as for color its your choice.
Did you install the crank pulley yourself? If not how much did it run you?

FALSE! Tuning/Abuse is the cause of the FI problems. I know of no direct problem from any of the FI kits on this forum caused by the kit itself, or hurting the engine within its safe realm.

Well those are undocumented ones.

Most people wouldnt like to tell you it messed up their engine, because going FI in the first place is a big deal for a lot. But then again owning up to your mess is something a lot of people dont have the guts to do, even if there is no factual (tuning, abuse) reason why it happened.

i plan to keep the 370z stock, as i plan to daily drive it. kind of over the modding thing also. after doing it, it gets real old.

what i plan to do is. rims, springs, cat back.

The Z unds like a POS stock. Reconsider that one.

With all the mods you've done, you're going to end up taking a loss on the deal. Is it really worth it to be in a somewhat more unique car? Around here, I see lots of G's (mostly awd), Z's, camaro's, mustangs, etc... The only thing that bothers me is that most of them are automatics. True enthusiasts drive with 3 pedals, not 2
So GTR, Lambo and Audi R8 drivers aren't true enthusiasts???

3/4 of NEW Z34 buyers, that have NO experience with previous Z/G or similar vehicles, are impulse buyers. They buy the car for its rarity and image. They think less about the type of performance it gives. If you are looking for a highway beast and weekend quarter mile track car. The SS is the car for many... or mustang. But if you're looking to maximize your experience in the corners, canyon runs and road coarse style track days. The Z is for you... though not as neutral and balanced as a FRS/BRZ and not as powerful as the MUSCLE 3 top line cars... it offers a median between the 2 styles of cars that a neutral enthusiast who feels comfortable with either import or domestic can feel comfy in a Z.

Never buy a car based on looks and image if it's a sports car. You truly have to find what fits. At least if you're buying a sports car for the SPORT of it. If your sole interest is looking good? I guess it doesn't matter. Honestly, buying a sports car based solely on image is a waste of cash. But to each his own. Not saying that's you... But you definitely should have spent more time test driving the Z to see if it fits.

The Z is truely a small market car. Most people in our country are far right or left in there sport car choices.

LMAO!!! I KINDA agree, the Z needs at least an intake then exhaust to really open it up, but it really wasn't that bad when I had it stock...

And yeah, I think in a few years you won't find a car with 3 pedals, I REALLY appreciate a manual, but accelerating to 60 is my game... An auto is quicker, sorry... (I know a 370 isn't the best straight line car, but it's the car I have and I just like the 370 a lot...

And you forgot Ferraris, Aston Martins, Porsches, McLaren's MP4-12C, and Mercedes' SLS, and the SLR... (I probably forgot a few) LOL

Must've missed it. I'd seriously consider Headers on this car. Not the most popular mod but I've heard one and the depth added is awesome. Will be my next engine mod.

Adding headers is a BIITCH, and if you're going to add a catback, you're not going to gain that much... It also seems to make the exhaust sound tinny...
