What you guys think the best looking z(stock only) ever made thus far. 240z/280z, 300zx, 350z, 350z nismo, 370z ,370z nismo or all Z cars are cool:tup:.

I vote for 370z Nismo too. But I like to hear the opinions on 350z Nismo. Some people love it some hate it coz it looks rice? For me I like the 350z Nismo too but I think 370z Nismo is more refined. As for the non nismo version, I like the 370z the most.:tup:

300ZX was hot, fast, and advanced for its time. 350z grabbed a lot of attention when it first came out in 03', I was a fan of it when it came out. But with the 370z, they just hit the nail on the head with the design, it's so sexy. It may sound biased, but the 370 is the best looking one hands down stock. The others look like they need some mods of some sort.

IMHO, the Nismo 350Z

From owning a few Z's

1970 V8 240z currently a waiting to be restored
1974 260z R.I.P
1990 300zx sold
2009 370 currently


They all had good things in their own way. IMO

This is a nice thread! I had to vote for them all because for each era they are great cars. At any point of time (before now) in the history of the Z car I would of been a happy owner.

I wish I had the space and the pocket for one of each.

All these Zs are sexy, no exception.

I currently own a Z31 300zx, 280z, and 370z Nismo. Have owned a regular 370z before. I've driven almost every model Z made available here in the states. In my opinion the order I think of is:

Z31T (300zx turbo)
S30Z (240z/260z/280z)
Z34 (sport)
Z34 (Nismo)
Z32 (TT or N/A)
S130T (280zx turbo)
Z33
Z33 (Nismo)


I know a lot of people would question my having the Z31 at the top of my list but what can I say; I'm a sucker for the 80's and the wedge shape of cars of that era. Born in '82 and my 300zx in '84. Even have the 80's Aviator sunglasses for when I drive her, LOL

Toss up for me between 240/280 and sport package 370.

I get that. But the poll is for which one you thought was the best. That's not to say that because you chose ONE that the others are automatically hideous.

To use your analogy; it's like if the Mrs. asked you to pick the best woman and your response was "I like you all". Good luck with that answer. :p

It funny to me my dad had a Silver 240Z when I was about 6 a motorcycle ran into it and he never had another. I liked the car it looked pretty cool for the time in 76. I still like the looks of the modified units. They don't show the 280z that was a cool looking car for the 80s and in the 80's it was a cool car. People used to race those around all the time. The 300z was the hottest Z of the late 80s ans early 90s. Those fixed up in twin turbo form were the bomb even into the mid 90s, from there all the cat makers were in sync. The Viper, RX7, Supra, Stealth TT, 3000GT TT... Nissan had some serious competition at that time. Since 2000 really there have not been to many companies building exotic performance machines to compete with each other that look nice. There has been a revival of the muscle car since that time, but even those are getting played in these time of high priced fuel and weak economy who wants a big v8 guzzling fuel. I don't think 350z was that much to write home about. The 370z is a vast improvement over 350z. Noting that the style of the 370z is great I don't know if it will wear well over time to be an iconic classic like the 240z.

You never know though by e time our cars are classics we will be more interested in our morning poo than the looks of our car.

Me too. But i have always liked all of the Z's that have been in production. But with every new model, it's supposed to look better, as well as perform better.

All the Z's looked great at the time, but to me, the 300 and 350 were both one-upped in looked by their successors. The 240 on the other hand, still looks amazing to me. Classic lines, and can look extremely aggressive AND tasteful with the right kit.

I think all Z's looked great when they first came out and most have aged really well. I've owned a 79 280ZX, a 90 300ZX, and my 09 370Z but pretty much any Z will make my head turn.

OP, you forgot the Z31, 300ZX also.

This is tough, but I never stopped to look at my other Z's as I do the 370. Over two years later I still turn and look.

I put 250,000 miles on my 280Z and loved that car along with other Z's. i just don't remember the "turn back and look" feeling years later.

300ZX TT, if only because of what it represented to me at the time. Super car like performance.

I know exactly what you mean but I think all the answers are great. If you ignore the last option, the poll still serves its purpose the way you want to look at.;) But I do respect people who vote for all the Z cars.:tup: After all it's a tough choice!:)

I loved this car, and I agree with you super car comment. On looks though I go with the 370.
